What is the difference between stone-coated tiles and plain metal sheets?

Stone-coated tiles are galvalume steel sheets pressed into a tile profile and bonded with natural stone granules. They look like clay tile, weigh a fraction of concrete, and the stone layer adds UV and acoustic insulation. Plain metal sheets are smooth pre-painted profiles — cheaper and faster for large industrial roofs, but without the aesthetic and acoustic benefits.

What steel thicknesses do you offer?

Stone-coated tiles: 0.45–0.55 mm TCT (total coated thickness). Synthetic thatch: panel widths 450-1000mm. Asphalt shingles: standard bundle coverage 3.0 sq.m. We always quote actual delivered specs — not theoretical minimums.

Are your roofs cool-roof rated?

Accepted Answer

Our lighter colour stone-chip finishes achieve SRI values of 60–80. Synthetic thatch provides natural airflow cooling. Asphalt shingles in lighter colours also reflect heat effectively.

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

Accepted Answer

MOQ varies by product line: 100 sq.m for stone-coated tiles, 50 sq.m for synthetic thatch, and 100 sq.m for asphalt shingles. Smaller sample orders can be arranged for project evaluation — please mention this in your enquiry.

What are your typical lead times?

Stone-coated tiles (made-to-order colour): 7–15 working days. Synthetic thatch: 5–10 working days. Asphalt shingles: 3–7 working days. Lead times are confirmed in writing at the time of PO.

Accepted Answer

We currently serve the Rajasthan–NCR corridor directly from our own dispatch: Rajasthan, Haryana, Delhi NCR, Uttar Pradesh (western), Gujarat (border districts) and Madhya Pradesh (border districts). For projects in other states, please contact us — we handle project freight case by case.

Submit the dealer enquiry form on this page. Our trade team reviews territory availability and gets back within 3 working days. We look for partners with an existing roofing/building-material trade presence, basic yard space, and a willingness to stock a minimum range.

Do you offer territory exclusivity?

Accepted Answer

Yes, exclusivity is available by district/city and is tied to mutually agreed annual volumes. Non-exclusive supply is also available for project resellers and contractors who do not want a stocking commitment.

What warranty do your products carry?

Stone-coated tiles: up to 30+ year material life*. Synthetic thatch: 20-year lifespan*. Asphalt shingles: 15-year warranty*. *Warranty terms are detailed per-product in the order confirmation.

How do I raise a warranty claim?

Email support@laxreeroofing.com with your order number, photographs of the issue, and the date of installation. Our team responds within 48 working hours and arranges site inspection if required. Always retain your order confirmation and invoice — these are required for claim validation.
